Portfolio Management Specialist

Job Number: R0241509 Portfolio Management Specialist Opportunity As a portfolio management specialist, you will support projects from concept to completion, ensuring they stay on a productive path. You will serve as a portfolio lead for a Department of the Army customer, managing multiple projects across the entire life cycle and analyzing existing policies and processes to recommend organizational improvements that streamline the client’s portfolio. Your communication skills will help clients achieve their objectives and meet quality standards while advancing U.S. defense priorities. Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day operations of assigned projects across the entire life cycle. Analyze and recommend improvements to policies and processes to optimize the client portfolio. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Develop and deliver executive‑level briefings, written products, information papers, and presentations. Evaluate and oversee project execution for near‑term, mid‑term, and long‑term assignments. Requirements 5+ years of experience working with DoD, Joint Staff, or a service‑level staff office. Experience developing written products, briefings, and presentations. Experience evaluating and overseeing project execution. Secret clearance or ability to obtain one. Bachelor’s degree. Nice to Have Acquisition experience. Experience drafting and revising congressional reports. Experience with foreign military sales or conducting international business. Completion of formal acquisition training. Clearance Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $77,600 to $176,000 annualized USD.
