For the 8th consecutive year, we have been named one of the top 20 Physician Groups in Southern California by Integrated Healthcare Associates (IHA).Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesSets up exam room/procedure rooms appropriately based on patient visit needsPerforms initial nursing intake and prepares patients for examinationPrepares patients for examination by reviewing current medications and reviewing documents in medical recordPrepares medical chart and records patient information needed to support the reason for visit such as vital signs and reason for visitCoordinates prescribed medications, injections, or IV medications using standard process and as advised by providerProvides basic patient care and treatments such as taking vitals, performing diagnostic tests, phlebotomy, and specimen collection advised by the providerObserves patient, documents, and reports any changes in condition to the provider for instructions in taking vital actions for careEvaluates nursing intervention outcomes within the LVN scope of practiceAnswers patient and physician incoming messages with provider inputServes as a patient advocate and applies appropriate resources to support patient careProvides review of MA skills and performance abilities using designated evaluation toolsPerforms quality assurance and quality control measures to maintain compliance in the clinical environment
