Tax Manager

We’re hiring a Tax Manager for an established, mid-sized CPA firm in the Dallas area. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity for an experienced CPA with a strong background in public accounting tax. The Tax Manager will oversee complex tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses while supervising and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex tax returns, including 1065, 1120S, 1040, and 1041

• Tax estimates, projections, planning, and compliance

• Research and resolve complex tax issues

• Manage client relationships and provide tax advisory support

• Supervise engagements and review staff work

• Mentor and develop staff accountants

• Collaborate with partners on client matters and practice development

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of public accounting tax experience

• Active CPA license required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Strong partnership, S corporation, individual, and fiduciary tax experience

• Prior staff supervision and review experience

• Strong client-facing and communication skills

• Proficiency with Excel, QuickBooks, and tax/accounting technology

Compensation:
$160,000 per year
