Operational Specialist

Looking to level up your operations experience within a reputable St. Louis-based financial firm? We are partnering with our Fortune 500 financial client to find an Operations Specialist to join their New Accounts team . This is a 1-year contract opportunity with a hybrid schedule (Tuesday–Thursday onsite) at their Maryland Heights, MO campus. Position Overview As an Operations Specialist, you will oversee and optimize day-to-day operational processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and smooth workflow across departments. This is a production environment role supporting W-9 and Substitute W-9 workflows , where accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance are critical. Key Responsibilities Manage and execute operational functions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Support W-9 and Substitute W-9 workflows, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance Review, process, and resolve W-9 and Substitute W-9 documentation issues in accordance with firm policies and regulatory requirements Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining organization and attention to detail Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies Stay up to date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements Develop and implement operational procedures and policies Prepare and present operational reports to management Qualifications Strong analytical background with excellent problem-solving skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production environment Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset High level of organization and attention to detail Passion for solving complex challenges and improving processes Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrives in an operational environment supporting W-9 and Substitute W-9 processes.
