Quick Facts: Location: Madison, WI Start Date: 10/31/2026 End Date: 01/30/2027 Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:00 – 18:00) Hours/Week: 36 hours/week Employment Type: Contract Licensure: Board Certified or eligible (within 2 years), IMLC accepted Experience: 1-3 years preferred but open for candidates with 1+ years Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Required: DEA, Obstetrics/Gynecology procedures, high-risk obstetrics experience Pay & Benefits: $253.50/hour (regular rate) Weekly pay via direct deposit Benefits include: Competitive pay package discussed upon application Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and related reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Oversee all labor and delivery activities with a focus on high-risk obstetric cases Manage and perform cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries Conduct rounds on obstetric and gynecologic patients in the hospital Handle GYN emergencies, consultations, and procedures such as IUD insertions/removals, ultrasounds, Pap smears Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNMs, FP physicians, OB/GYN residents, and medical students Provide postpartum care and family planning counseling Support the on-call team during overnight and weekend shifts with in-house call duties Contribute to a trauma and regional transfer center environment What You Need: Current, valid license to practice in Wisconsin or eligible for IMLC acceptance Strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, including high-risk cases Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to work independently within a team-based setting About the Assignment: Join a regional leader in healthcare in Madison, Wisconsin, delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. This role offers hands-on experience with a variety of case types, including high-risk pregnancies, GYN emergencies, and surgical procedures, in a hospital with on-site NICU and 24/7 consultative support from OB GYN specialists and GYN oncologists.
