Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for Pennsylvania
• Experience working in school settings, ideally with early childhood or preschool populations
• Ability to deliver both direct interventions and consultative/indirect support to students
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills to inform service delivery and eligibility
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, especially when working with multidisciplinary teams such as MDE/IEP groups
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to support student participation and success in preschool programs
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, gathering data to determine students' needs for special services
• Work closely with MDE (Multidisciplinary Evaluation) and IEP (Individualized Education Program) teams to set and revise goals, deliver updates, and ensure that student progress is accurately monitored
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support inclusion, adaptations, and a positive early education experience
• Maintain thorough documentation related to assessments, treatment, and student progress in compliance with school and state regulations
