Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania
• Prior experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting, specifically ages 3 to 5
• Knowledge of school-based service delivery, including IEP and MDE process
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to perform evaluations, create goals, and monitor progress effectively

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing both direct and indirect occupational therapy services to preschool-aged children according to their individual needs
• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments for initial, re-evaluation, and ongoing student needs to determine eligibility and requirements for therapy services
• Collaborating closely with IEP/MDE teams, sharing insights and recommendations regarding student progress, goals, and accommodations
• Developing, writing, and continually updating IEP goals; actively monitoring, documenting, and communicating student progress
• Serving as a resource for families and educators to support and guide students’ functional skill development within the classroom and at home
