Commercial Loan Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Loan Operations Specialist to support commercial loan booking, funding, and loan administration activities. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately booking commercial bilateral loans, maintaining loan records, reviewing legal documentation, processing funding transactions, and ensuring timely and accurate loan administration.

The ideal candidate has previous banking experience, understands commercial loan documentation, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced operations environment where accuracy and attention to detail are critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and book commercial bilateral loan transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Review credit agreements and legal loan documentation to ensure accurate loan setup.
• Maintain billing schedules, pricing options, and client account information.
• Process loan funding and ensure timely disbursement.
• Perform loan administration activities including payment processing, reconciliations, and quality reviews.
• Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies throughout the booking process.
• Build strong relationships with internal business partners and legal teams.
• Communicate with attorneys and internal stakeholders regarding loan documentation and funding requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and internal banking systems to manage loan information.

Required Qualifications

• Previous banking experience.
• Knowledge of credit agreements and legal loan documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to review and interpret loan documents.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12 years of Financial Booking experience.
• Commercial Loan Operations experience.
• Loan IQ experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
