Talent4Health is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.

Job Description & Requirements

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days, nights
• Employment Type: Local Contract

Patient Population

• STEMI
• NSTEMI
• Chest Pain (C/P)
• Cardiothoracic Surgery (CTS) patients
• Cardiac telemetry patients

Units Available :

• 5J Intermediate
• 7 L IMCU

Unit Details

• Float to all PCU/IMCU units
• May also float to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower-acuity patients
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3–4

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMCU experience in a similar-sized acute care hospital
• Experience caring for cardiac patient populations
• Experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring
• Experience managing the following cardiac drips:
  • Milrinone
  • Dobutamine
  • Pressors (vasopressors)

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)

EMR

• EPIC (Required)
