Job Overview
KC Elite Staffing is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing and warehouse operations within a large fast-paced production facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills experience with lean manufacturing and a commitment to operational efficiency product quality and workplace safety.

Work Schedule

1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM 6:30 AM

Schedule Details

Specific workdays are to be determined as management finalizes the schedule.
Weekend availability is required. Employees may be scheduled to work at least one weekend day.
Flexibility to work holidays and varying schedules may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily manufacturing and warehouse operations to meet production goals.
Develop and execute short- and long-term operational improvement plans.
Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Lead coach and develop production teams while promoting safety and teamwork.
Maintain product quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA EPA FDA USDA and HACCP regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
1 year of experience working with lean manufacturing principles.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supervising a diverse unionized workforce.
Strong employee management and development skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to learn new manufacturing and business systems.
Flexibility to work weekends holidays and varying schedules.
