Join Our Team as an Echocardiogram Technician!

Job Description:

* Are you passionate about providing exceptional care in the field of cardiovascular health?
* We are seeking a dynamic Echocardiogram Technician to join our talented team and make a significant impact!
* Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM
* Enjoy your weekends! Weekend call is every 3-4 weeks based on staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echocardiograms, and other cardiac ultrasound procedures with precision.
* Apply your expertise in cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
* Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of studies, adhering to departmental and accreditation standards.
* Work independently on moderately complex assignments, exercising your judgment to determine appropriate imaging approaches.
* Collaborate closely with cardiologists and clinical teams to deliver timely diagnostic support.
* Maintain thorough records and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
* Elevate complex cases to senior technicians or management for review as needed.
* Contribute to equipment maintenance and quality control procedures.

Qualifications:

* Education: Graduate of an accredited echocardiogram or cardiovascular sonography program.
* Experience: 1 - 3 years of echocardiography experience preferred.
* Licenses: One of the following registrations is required:
+ Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
+ Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI
+ Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT
* Certification: BLS certification is required.
* No floating; work solely within the echocardiogram department supporting OR, inpatient, outpatient, and cath lab.

Dress Code:

* Hospital laundered scrubs in the OR. Wear navy or black otherwise.
