United Regional Hospital is a prominent healthcare institution serving Wichita Falls, TX, and surrounding communities. The facility is designated as a Level II Special Care Nursery, caring for infants with 30-week or longer gestational age and birth weight greater than 1,250 grams. The Special Care Nursery collaborates with trained pediatricians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation services, and neonatal nutritionists. The hospital is in partnership with Pediatrix, working towards Level III NICU designation. Responsibilities Cover Level II NICU and newborn nursery. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns in the Level II NICU. Provide family-centered care and support parents during their newborn's NICU stay, fostering strong communication and collaboration. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Participate in clinical research projects aimed at advancing neonatal care.
