Astronomical Instrumentation Mechanical Engineer

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the McDonald Observatory on the UT Austin campus with occasional travel to the observatory. You will design, analyze, test, and support optomechanical and electromechanical subsystems for instrument and telescope development projects. Responsibilities include developing design concepts, creating fabrication drawings, coordinating part fabrication, assembling and deploying instrumentation, and communicating results to #J-18808-Ljbffr University of Texas
