What You’ll Do As an Associate, you will: Participate in all phases of audit and assurance engagements for governmental and nonprofit clients Review prior year workpapers and financial statements to prepare for engagements Perform audit procedures for moderately complex areas Address review notes promptly and thoroughly Draft concise, well-supported management letter comments Learn and assess client accounting systems and internal controls Evaluate control effectiveness within assigned audit areas Communicate progress and findings to supervisors and team members Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines What You’ll Gain Diverse assurance experience with municipalities, schools, and nonprofits Direct mentorship from experienced CPAs and audit managers Exposure to GAAP, Yellow Book, and Single Audit standards Professional development support, including CPA exam preparation resources A collaborative, growth-oriented environmentCareer advancement opportunities in a growing firm Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting (150 credit hours completed or in progress) GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred Intention to complete the CPA exam within two years of employment Strong problem‑solving, verbal, and written communication skills Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Ability to work independently and in a team environment Willingness to travel to client locations as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
