Job Summary and Qualifications

Nuclear Medical Technologist Lead Our Imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Lead, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals. Your tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans
• Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes and record dosages for patients in accordance with physicians' orders
• Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film
• Position patients and adjust immobilization devices
• Compassionately explain procedures to patients and address concerns
• Monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation (MEDITECH)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program
• Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
• Minimum of 18 months of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and one (1) year as a Radiology Technologist
• Current ARRT (N) and/or CNMT certification
• Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
