Mechanical AssemblerLocation: Houston, TX, USAEmployment Type: ContractAbout the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join a leading company in the oil and gas industry. In this role, you will contribute to the assembly of finished products, components, or sub-assemblies of oil and gas valves and chemical injection pumps.ResponsibilitiesRead work instructions, work orders, and production drawings.Interpret assembly instructions, drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications.Assemble different parts of manufactured products using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.Completely assemble, test, and package products built on the line.Set up test equipment to measure and record assembly conformance to test specifications.Participate in Lean events and continuous improvement initiatives.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED.At least 3 years of related manufacturing assembly and testing experience.Experience in ERP systems.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to operate assembly and testing equipment safely and properly.Preferred Qualifications (if any)Experience with torque wrenches and middleware software applications.Lean and Continuous Improvement knowledge.Who We AreSGF Global is an integrated talent solutions provider, offering staffing, recruitment, Employer of Record (EOR), nearshore, and consulting services across a wide range of industries in 35 countries.
