Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid Louisiana Special Education teaching certification, or a valid Louisiana teaching certificate with willingness to pursue Special Education certification
• Experience working with students diagnosed with autism is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of best practices in special education instruction, IEP development, and classroom management
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and related service providers
• Compassion, patience, and flexibility to support diverse learners in a positive, inclusive environment

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver instruction to moderate special education classes aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Employ structured routines and evidence-based strategies specifically tailored for students with autism
• Manage classrooms effectively, fostering a safe and engaging learning space
• Collect data and create reports to track student progress
• Communicate regularly with families and staff regarding student achievement and needs
• Participate in meetings, professional development opportunities, and school activities as required
