What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsranging from chemistry to hematology and immunologyfollowing established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and maintain lab equipment through regular calibration and preventative maintenance.
• Support specimen collection and sample preparation for testing as required.
• Accurately document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure the lab environment remains clean and safe while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science Certification (CLS) must be acquired within the first year.
• Maintain certification throughout your employment.
