Our ideal candidate for the Sales Consultant position is a home decor lover who is charismatic, highly self-driven, and enjoys people and making homes beautiful. Deep-Dive Onboarding: To set you up for long-term success, you will spend your first two months shadowing the business owner to master our specific products, measuring techniques, and sales process. Daily Alignment: Every morning starts with a brief review, planning, and connection session with the owner to go over the day's schedule and ensure we are perfectly aligned. Strong Leads: Strong leads generated through company marketing efforts to train well on products and services with incentives when self-generating leads. Compensation: OTE (On Target Earnings) $75,000-85,000 first year Annual Pay Range Base $37,440 Monthly sales of $10,001-$40,000 = 5% Monthly sales of $40,001-$60,000 = 7% Monthly sales of $60,001- uncapped = 9% Average sale is $4,500 Expectation is to close minimum of 10-12 sales per month between company and self generated leads. Option for straight commission (10% on company leads / 12% on self-generated) is available for seasoned pros. Benefits Paid Time Off-- 2 weeks Company Car Gas Card iPad Paid Holidays Schedule, Location, & Commute: Commute Requirement: Must reside within a 30-minute drive of Daphne, AL to ensure a reliable commute to our office and local service areas. Daily Office Start: This role begins at our local office every morning. Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Saturdays: Must be flexible to handle occasional Saturday appointments (averaging about once a month). Core Responsibilities: Independent Lead Generation & Sales: The company will provide you with a stream of high-quality leads to work and close; however, you must actively drive your own success by generating at least half of your own leads through proactive prospecting and local community networking. Local Networking: Actively attend and participate in local business networking groups (like BNI, Chamber of Commerce, etc.) to build a robust local referral network. In-Home Consultations: Meet with clients in their homes or offices, identify their needs, and present custom window solutions. Morning Planning: Actively participate in daily 8:30 AM huddles to review the day's schedule and strategy. Marketing Support: Capture high-quality before-and-after photos of your completed projects to help power our local social media. Qualifications: Sales & Lead Gen Mastery (Day 1 Expectation): 2–3 years of solid sales experience (in-home sales preferred). You must possess the sales acumen and proactive mindset required to generate leads and drive the sales process independently from day one. Curious Learner: You have a natural "desire to know" how things work. While you will be shadowing the owner, you must be eager to independently study product guides and quickly master the technical catalog. Meticulous Attention to Detail: You must be able to focus intensely on the minute details, as taking exact custom measurements and reviewing detailed specifications is critical to success.
