What You'll Do

  • Provide expert nursing care to emergency department patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
  • Assess patient needs and prioritize care based on acuity
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments following protocols
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans and recovery
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times

What You Need

Required:
  • Valid RN license for Louisiana
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • At least 2 years of ER nursing experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
  • Certification in clinical specialty areas
  • Previous experience with trauma or critical care
