Assignment may require extended hours until an event passes. Details regarding compensation for emergency events will be provided. Candidates must be comfortable with these expectations. Staffing ratios are 1:3 for patient care. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Candidates must possess competencies in various emergency procedures. Strong skills in managing respiratory, psychiatric, and trauma cases are essential. Experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center is preferred. Charting experience must include proficiency in Epic. Patient demographics include infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Candidate must bring two manager or supervisor references upon clearance to start. Complications or special procedures are part of unit operations. Candidate will be working in a high-volume environment with an average daily census of 110.
