Revenue Cycle Specialist

Revenue Cycle Specialist Department: Billing Employment Type: Full Time Location: United States Reporting To: Billing Manager Compensation: $40,000 - $52,000 / year Description We are seeking a hands-on Revenue Cycle Specialist to own day-to-day accounts receivable operations working with health plans. This is an opportunity to make a big impact in a small team by driving efficient systems, clean data, and scalable processes. Key Responsibilities
- Submitting medical claims to health plans and generating payer invoices.
- Generate and send customer invoices based on service agreements or order volume.
- Apply incoming payments and monitor AR aging reports.
- Follow up on past-due accounts and communicate professionally with clients about outstanding balances.
- Support revenue recognition processes and collaborate with BD or operations on billing accuracy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management
- Minimum of 3 years of experience submitting medical claims and appealing denials.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude and startup mindset.
