Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Columbus, OH, for a Nurse Practitioner at the OSUCCC – James. The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient-centered care, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer within collaborative care teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing care plans, prescribing medications, and educating patients and their families. Coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes is a critical part of the role. Qualifications Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or eligibility to become licensed in the state of Ohio. Expertise in patient assessment, clinical decision‑making, and care plan development. Experience with oncology care or clinical trials is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary healthcare teams and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care. Advanced Practice Nursing degree from an accredited program and board certification in the relevant specialty. Knowledge of regulatory compliance within a healthcare or clinical environment.
