Held Desk TechnicianReports to: IT DirectorFLSA Status: Non-ExemptHours: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (One (1) Hour Lunch); occasional additional hours as neededJob Location: 3500 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus, OH 43207 - This is an in-person position with regular travel to Company job sites and other locationsGeneral Overview: The Help Desk Technician provides day-to-day technology support to Company employees, with a primary focus on managing Company-issued devices throughout their lifecycle. This includes ordering devices, maintaining inventory, provisioning and configuring phones, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repairs, replacements, and service.This position also assists with employee account creation, system access, and general help desk requests. The technician must be comfortable traveling to construction job sites to provide hands-on support to field staff. This is an entry-level opportunity for a dependable, organized individual who enjoys helping others and learning new technology. This individual should consistently demonstrate Integrity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Leadership.Responsibilities:Order, receive, label, track, issue, and recover Company assets and related accessoriesMaintain accurate phone inventory, assignments, service records, and available stockSet up, configure, activate, and provision mobile devices for new and existing employees in accordance with Company standardsTroubleshoot mobile devices, cellular service, application, and connectivity problems; coordinate repairs, warranty claims, replacements, and carrier supportCreate and update employee user accounts, passwords, and access permissions using established approval and security proceduresAssist with onboarding, offboarding, and routine employee technology requestsProvide friendly, timely help desk support for basic hardware, software, account, and mobile-device issues; document requests and resolutionsTravel to Company job sites and other locations to set up devices, resolve issues, and support field employees in personEscalate complex problems to other IT staff or vendors and follow through until resolvedLearn and adhere to all Company policies and procedures; perform other duties as assignedOther duties as assignedThis list is non-exhaustive. Job responsibilities may vary based on operational needs and the instructions of the employee's supervisor.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; technical coursework, certifications, or related experience preferredEntry-level candidates are welcome; prior help desk, mobile device, or customer service experience is a plusMust be at least 18 years oldMust be willing and able to work in person and travel regularly to Company job sitesMust successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
