The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Move Team Lead who notices what needs to happen and makes sure it gets done.

You'll lead small on-site teams while working directly with clients and families throughout packing, sorting, moving, organizing, and home setup projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, staying organized, solving problems, and helping people during important life transitions.

If you're the person who makes the checklist, double-checks supplies, and catches issues before they become problems, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Lead small teams on-site and help keep projects on schedule
• Review project plans, confirm supplies, and identify potential issues in advance
• Pack, sort, label, and organize belongings with care and attention to detail
• Coordinate items to keep, donate, sell, relocate, or discard
• Support move days, including lifting, staging, transportation coordination, and home setup
• Unpack and organize clients' new homes so they feel comfortable and familiar
• Assist with clean-outs and downsizing projects
• Communicate clearly with clients, family members, teammates, and office staff
• Document project progress and report issues, safety concerns, or scope changes
• Adapt quickly when priorities or plans shift
• Help train and support newer team members as you grow within the role

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Strong initiative and ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear communication and professional interpersonal skills
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to serve older adults and their families
• Ability to lead and motivate small teams
• Good judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lift and carry boxes and light-to-moderate household items
• Comfortable working in client homes and a variety of environments
• Reliable transportation throughout the greater Phoenix area
• Flexible weekday daytime availability, typically 4-8 hour shifts
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in moving services, professional organizing, senior living, caregiving, estate transitions, or related fields
• Previous team leadership or crew management experience
• Training or certification related to move management, caregiving, logistics, or senior services
• Interest in growing into a larger role within senior transition services

Pay & Schedule

• $21-$24 per hour, based on experience
• Part-time, on-call position
• Flexible weekday scheduling
• Choose available shifts and take time off as needed
• Work performed on-site at client homes, senior living communities, and other locations throughout the Phoenix area
