Occupational Therapist (OT) | School Based | PK-12

New Castle, Delaware | 2026-2027 School Year | 37.5 Hours/Week

Open to Local or Travel Contract| W2 Full Time Benefits

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to support a school district in New Castle County, DE for the 2026-2027 School Year. This opportunity is ideal for a school-based OT who values interdisciplinary collaboration, structured support, and the ability to help students develop the functional skills necessary for academic success and independence.

Schedule : 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type : W2
Start Date : 8/24/26
End Date : 2026-2027 School Year
Work Arrangement : In Person

Occupational Therapist (OT) - School Based - Key Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and comprehensive assessments
Participate as a related service provider in IEP meetings
Develop measurable, functional IEP goals aligned with student needs
Provide direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEPs
Address fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-regulation, and functional classroom participation
Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom accommodation
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
Maintain compliance documentation and progress monitoring

Qualifications :

Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
Active DE State Occupational Therapist License
NBCOT certification required
Prior school-based experience as an OT is required (Post Grad or Clinical Field Work)
