Experiential Account Director

We're an experiential marketing agency of strategists, account leaders, producers, creatives, and problem solvers, and we're growing. We're looking for a veteran experiential Account Director who's hungry to own client relationships, excited to lead a team, and energized by bringing big ideas to life across experiential, content, social, and digital.

You'll lead an account team and own the day-to-day health, growth, and profitability of one or more client relationships. You'll report to the Group Account Director and be the main point of accountability between the client and the agency.

This isn't just an "accounts" role or just a producing role. We're a team that's comfortable wearing different hats, and no task is too big or too small.

Lead clients and strategy

• Be the primary lead for your clients and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders

• Develop account plans, annual program calendars, and strategies tied to client goals and KPIs

• Spot new project opportunities and organic growth within your accounts

• Draft creative briefs and present recommendations and proposals to clients

• Support New Business on RFPs and pitches, including scope, staffing, and budgets

Manage budgets and staffing

• Own program and account budgets, from estimates to actuals to reconciliation, while protecting agency margin

• Set and communicate scope, timing, and budget, and manage scope changes as they come up

• Make staffing decisions with the Group Account Director, including project leads and freelancers

• Make sure time is logged accurately and staffing matches approved scopes

• Partner with Finance on forecasting, invoicing, and reporting

Oversee execution

• Guide programs end-to-end: planning, production, on-site execution, and post-event recap

• Review team deliverables (decks, timelines, budgets, recaps) before they reach the client

• Keep vendor, venue, and partner requirements on track, including contracts, COIs, and permits

• Anticipate risks, solve problems early, and escalate when it makes sense

• Measure and report results against agreed KPIs

Lead the team

• Manage, mentor, and develop direct reports, both in the office and in the field

• Give regular, candid feedback and coaching that helps people grow toward their next role

• Work closely with Creative, Production, Strategy, New Business, and Finance xhyhwjd

• Follow and reinforce our procedures, and flag gaps so we can improve them together

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experiential marketing experience (primarily experiential background required, no exceptions), including agency-side account leadership

• A track record of leading experiential programs from concept through on-site execution and recap

• Experience managing and developing multiple direct reports

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

• Comfort leading client conversations and managing budgets, staffing, and timelines across multiple programs

• A strong understanding of experiential and integrated marketing

• Proven creative, innovative thinking

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with project management and time-tracking tools
