Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring a Medical Assistant for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity in Seattle, WA.

This is an on-site opportunity with a 4-day workweek.

Pay: $26.00–$28.50/hr

Location: Seattle, WA 98107

Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: 4 days per week, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care through face-to-face, telephone, and electronic interactions.

• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, monitoring, diagnostic tests, and procedures.

• Collect and document patient information, including vital signs, chief complaints, medications, allergies, and health screening information.

• Assist physicians and nursing staff with injections, EKGs, and other patient care procedures.

• Coordinate patient care as directed by clinicians and established policies and procedures.

• Manage patient calls, messages, and clinical tasks while accurately documenting all actions.

• Complete accurate and thorough EMR and paper-based documentation.

• Prepare and clean patient rooms and set up instruments and equipment according to protocol.

• Follow infection control and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting required; primary care experience preferred.

• Medical Assisting Registration or Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program required.

• Positive attitude and proactive approach to patient care.

• Strong ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.

• Excellent attendance and reliability.

• Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills.

Dress Code: Scrubs, any solid color. Scrub jackets are acceptable.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.50 per hour
