Retail Office / HR Manager

We are seeking an adaptable, hands-on Office / HR Manager for a retail company in Glen Allen/Short Pump. This position bridges fast-paced floor operations with back-office HR, financial administration, and POS management.

This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position offering $25.00 to $30.00/hour, eligible for overtime during peak market seasons (holidays, summer events).

Key Responsibilities

• Human Resources Support: Lead recruitment, orientation, record-keeping, and employee relations; assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.

• POS & Pricing Management: Oversee POS system functionality, manage cash office operations (daily deposits, cash flow), and maintain real-time inventory pricing accuracy.

• Store Compliance & Admin: Serve as in-store accounting liaison (invoices, expense tracking); manage local compliance (health department, food safety, ABC regulations).

• Office Coordination: Primary liaison for service vendors, basic IT troubleshooting, and facility support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HR, Office Management, or Operations within retail, grocery, or hospitality.

• Demonstrated experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems, cash office management, and basic bookkeeping.

• Solid knowledge of federal/state labor rules, local food safety, and retail regulations.
