Full-Time, B2B - Porter Preston
$40,000-$50,000 base (DOE) +Commission
About Us
Porter Preston manufactures and distributes quality wholesale window coverings across Residential Contract, Hospitality and Healthcare markets.
The Role
We're seeking a full-time, dedicated Sales Rep to grow our trade business throughout the US. You'll own your territory, represent our lines exclusively and build lasting relationships with designers, retailers and dealers.
Industry experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
• Develop new accounts and grow existing ones
• Present and demonstrate our products in showrooms and design studios
• Quote, negotiate and close sales
• Train customers on our product lines
• Coordinate with our team on orders and service
• Track activity and pipeline in our CRM
Qualifications
• Outside B2B sales experience, ideally in window treatments, home furnishings or interior design
• Proven record of opening accounts and meeting goals
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and organized
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for territory travel
Compensation & Benefits
• $40,000-$50,000 base, depending on experience
• 2-3% commission
• Health insurance reimbursement up to $300/month
• 401(k) after 1 year: 20% match up to $1,000/year, fully vested at 3 years
• Vacation/sick: 40 hours after 90 days, accruing to 2 weeks; 15 days at 5 years, 20 days at 10 years
• 3 personal days after 90 days
• Compensation is negotiable for the right candidate
