Description Call Center Representative at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is Perdiem and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts. Under moderate supervision, the PBX/ Call Center Representative answers a multi-incoming computerized PBX system and directs calls to the appropriate extension, department or individual. Responsible for monitoring and responding appropriately to medical emergency alarms, fire, and equipment failure. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Diploma or GED 1 year answering service background or professional switchboard operation Experience with heavy call traffic, multi-incoming and outgoing lines Preferred Qualifications: 2 years experience with computerized switchboard operation Experience in a healthcare environment 1 year PBX Operator experience Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
