Feeder Packer Job Description

The Opportunity:

As a Feeder Packer, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring products are packed, inspected, and prepared for shipment according to quality and safety standards. You will contribute to a high-performing production environment by maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to specifications. In this role, you will work closely with operators and team members to ensure production goals are met while upholding company values of integrity, sustainability, and service.

How you will impact Smurfit WestRock:

• Assemble corrugated boxes and pack finished products for shipmentin accordance withspecifications.
• Verify job specifications against materials being used to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Load cartons into machine feeds whilemaintainingproper stack height and orientation.
• Change and move pallets or loads usingappropriate equipment.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet required quality standards before shipment.
• Complete andmaintainrequired production and quality documentation.
• Support machine operators inmaintainingconsistent production output and product quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors, operators, and team leads to support operational needs.

What you need to succeed:

• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours during a shift.
• Ability to use hands for grasping, pushing, and pulling tasks.
• Ability to safelyoperatea hand-operated pallet jack.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with printed materials and packaging quality.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-performance environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability tolift upto 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as bending, twisting, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, ear protection, hair nets, and steel-toed shoes.
• Flexibility to workadditionalhours or overtime as needed to support production demands.
