New York Metro Area | Full-Time | Pay Based on Experience
Join a team building major commercial projects across the New York Metro Area. We're looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic with experience installing commercial HVAC ductwork and working from blueprints in fast-paced construction environments.
What You'll Do

• Install rectangular, spiral, and oval ductwork systems
• Read blueprints and HVAC layouts
• Fabricate and modify sheet metal components in the field
• Perform rooftop cut-ins and fan installations
• Install supports, dampers, and HVAC components
• Work safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines

What You Bring

• Commercial sheet metal/HVAC experience
• Blueprint reading skills
• Field fabrication experience
• Rooftop installation experience
• OSHA 30 Certification
• SST 10 Certification

Bonus Points

• Large commercial construction experience
• Lead mechanic or crew leadership experience
• Familiarity with NYC/NY commercial projects

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
