Responsibilities

• Conduct intraoperative radiographs in the operating room, ensuring proper patient positioning, shielding, and image quality.
• Utilize IV power injector capabilities when indicated, following protocol and documenting usage.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment; monitor patient safety, radiation safety, and sterile technique.
• Document imaging in Cerner EMR with accurate labeling and timely delivery to the care team.
• Collaborate with the surgical team and radiology staff to support procedures and patient care.
• Adhere to infection control and department policies.

Requirements

• NYS Radiologic Technologist license (ARRT(R)) required.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• IV Power Injector Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year current X-ray experience, including operating room imaging.
• Cerner EMR proficiency and BLS certification.
