Facilities Worker- Full Time 2nd Shift

Facilities Worker

Provide direct support in and throughout the park with regards to maintenance. Assist with the day to day work assignments involving electrical and plumbing repairs. Will cross train in areas of custodial for emergency coverage, will be called to assist with alligator and crocodile care. In addition, provide coverage on an assigned area for routine upkeep.

Ongoing construction and upgrades of exhibits

General repair, maintenance, and painting

Carpentry, plumbing, air conditioning and electrical work

Special event work

Waste Water Management exposure

Periodic landscape work

Assist with alligator and crocodile moves, feeding, capturing and care, including the cleaning of pens

Performs other duties as requested

Must have extensive handyman experience.

Must have a current Florida Driver License. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and air conditioning. Automotive experience a plus. Must be able to lift 80 lbs. Weekend and holiday hours are to be expected. Must be willing to work in inclement weather. Must speak fluent English and write it as well.
