This position offers hands-on experience with a diverse K–5 self-contained caseload at a single elementary campus. Support is built in: you’ll work alongside a paraprofessional, and collaborate with dedicated administration to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Educator Certification for Special Education (K–5th grade students)
• Experience supporting elementary students, particularly with autism and self-care needs
• Ability to collaborate within an educational team
• Willingness to work on-site 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 7:40am–3:20pm)
• Communication skills suited to building relationships with students, staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to a class of 12 students (K–5), all within a self-contained classroom
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to diverse needs, including those requiring toileting and sensory support
• Supervise and collaborate with a classroom paraprofessional
• Foster a safe, engaging, and growth-oriented environment
