You are responsible for ensuring that projects are successfully completed on time and on budget. This includes project governance, budget and timeline development, build quality, testing and operational readiness, and the completed project’s readiness to go live. Responsibilities Serve as Site Engineering Senior Manager on the Plant Leadership Team, responsible for planning and execution of projects and cash flow management. Develop and implement site master plans (facility and asset long‑range plans) and oversee capital investments ranging from $20 MM to $50 MM USD. Ensure engineering leadership for existing lines, driving the technical agenda toward 85 % global line efficiency and 100 % vertical start‑up of new lines, and leading the execution of new initiatives aligned with the site master plan. Support and co‑lead global and regional engineering platforms working toward standardized line designs. Lead and champion development of required skills within plant engineering teams through technical and project‑managerial capability upgrades, coaching, and mentoring to achieve high levels of efficiency, quality, and safety. Own and lead the Innovation Initiative Pillar (IIM) of the Integrated Lean 6 Sigma (IL6S) programme, responsible for vertical start‑up management and technical readiness of all initiatives. Balance leading‑edge technology solutions with capital availability and organizational savings goals. Identify engineering solutions that consider our global network and category position. Integrate IL6S phase requirements into all projects. Navigate ambiguity, interpret large volumes of information, and draw conclusions that support project scope. Think creatively and understand broader category needs. Work across a matrix organization, collaborating with project teams across countries and a global community, managing significant complexity and cultural diversity. Coordinate manufacturing, engineering and supply‑chain resources for successful project execution, ensuring safety, cash‑flow and quality objectives are met. Manage OEM relationships on projects and initiatives. Deliver equipment designs meeting IL6S AM and PM standards. Apply IL6S tools and practices, ensuring early management steps are in place. Facilitate change‑management processes within the global engineering community, linking standards with technology platforms, and maintain the Maintenance Prevention Database. Build on‑site capability for vertical start‑up and ensure competence and skill development for asset hand‑over and care. Lead new product launches and modifications, collaborating with business development, procurement and technical teams. Drive breakthrough thinking, new equipment and process development, and customer/consumer focus and service. Develop the technical agenda from business and consumer needs, transforming business needs into actionable proposals to enhance line capability and maximize plant capacity utilization. Lead continuous improvement of the Maintenance Prevention process, fostering 100 % engagement from internal customers. Qualifications Owns engagement for teams and network of engineering peers. Leads teams, ensuring individual development and guidance. Provides adequate training for pillar and team members. Communicates plans and information to staff, following through on commitments. Accounts for teams’ performance management, discipline and development. Builds strong project‑management capability within plant engineering teams through training, coaching and mentoring, linking to regional and global capability‑building programmes. Demonstrates strong leadership in technical and project‑management areas, with proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget and with high quality. Experience leading cross‑functional projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Experience with IL6S, particularly the IIM pillar. Ability to develop site master plans and capital roadmaps aligned with manufacturing and commercial strategy. Strong business acumen, with ability to assess manufacturing capability, source innovations and drive cost efficiencies. Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with ability to influence across the global engineering community. Experience in the confectionery and snacks technology sectors and familiarity with relevant equipment suppliers. Education / Certifications University degree or equivalent advanced qualification in a relevant discipline. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, project‑management software and ERP systems such as SAP. Certification in IL6S with a focus on the IIM pillar. Job Specific Requirements 10 + years of project‑management experience. In‑depth knowledge of confectionery and snacks technology and equipment suppliers. Training or mentoring experience. Experience with IL6S, especially the IIM pillar. Experience designing equipment to meet AM and PM standards. Relocation / Travel / Work Schedule Relocation offered: Yes. Travel requirement: 10 %. Work schedule: Core hours on site, Monday‑Friday. Salary and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program, with possibility for over‑achievement based on performance and company results.
