Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, arranging diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either independently or in partnership with physicians (as per credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and families on preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted by your practice license
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic health issues
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, comprehensive care
• Meticulously documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or must obtain within 90 days of hire)
