Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker at Real Beginnings, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status and developing individualized treatment plans that align with established best practices.
• Utilizing therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to directly address clients' psychological needs, tailoring approaches to suit varying preferences.
• Maintaining precise and timely documentation of clinical notes and treatment progress, adhering to HIPAA regulations and industry standards.
• Engaging in collaborative care by coordinating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide a holistic treatment experience.
• Participating in peer review meetings and case consultations, contributing to collective learning and quality improvement of care practices within the organization.
• Offering educational resources and support to patients and families, assisting them in understanding mental health issues and navigating treatment options.
• Staying abreast of the latest developments in mental health practices, research, and policies to ensure the application of the most effective techniques in clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
