Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

$115,000–$120,000 per year + full benefits

The Position

This role involves providing psychotherapy to adults through scheduled virtual appointments. You will handle your cases from the first visit onward, including clinical review, follow-up, and required records. Clients may come in with concerns related to anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationships, or major life changes. Your responsibility is to provide appropriate therapy and recognize when a case needs additional clinical or community support.

Day-to-Day

See clients for individual psychotherapy sessions

Gather clinical and psychosocial information during initial visits

Address concerns that are affecting a client’s mental health or daily life

Complete notes and required records after appointments

Review significant changes that occur during care

Connect clients with outside resources when necessary

Consult with colleagues on cases that require additional input

Maintain privacy and professional standards

Meet Alabama LICSW practice requirements

Requirements

Active Alabama LICSW license in good standing

Comfort using telehealth tools, electronic documentation systems, and remote client communication

Strong assessment skills, ethical judgment, and ability to manage a full-time caseload

Ability to support clients with both emotional concerns and practical life stressors

Clear writing skills and a reliable private workspace for virtual sessions
