The Meat Manager cuts product to meet business needs, executes production plans, and drives department sales through quality and consistency. What You’ll Do Cuts product to meet the needs of the department to drive sales Executes production plans Leads, trains, and develops Meat Department associates Delivers exceptional Customer 1st service and resolves customer concerns Drives department sales, production, and profitability Oversees product merchandising, freshness, pricing, and display standards Ensures compliance with food safety, temperature logs, and company policies Coaches and supervises team performance, including feedback and performance reviews Supports hiring, scheduling, and associate development Leadership Expectations Creates a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment Promotes company initiatives and drives team engagement Manages workload, priorities, and department operations effectively Handles conflict professionally and supports team success What We’re Looking For Strong leadership and decision‑making skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced, sometimes high‑pressure environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Knowledge of food safety, merchandising, and department operations Preferred Experience Meat cutting or food production experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Fred Meyer
