Breakfast Attendant | Start Their Day with Great Hospitality. Are you friendly, dependable, and ready to help create a welcoming start to every guest’s day? As a Breakfast Attendant , you’ll prepare and maintain our hotel’s breakfast area, keep food fresh and well stocked, and provide warm, attentive service to our guests. From setting up breakfast to keeping the dining area clean and inviting, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive guest experience. What’s in it for you- Compensation & Benefits Competitive Pay - $15 – 16 hourly. The starting rate is based on experience and qualifications. Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefits What You’ll Do Set up the breakfast area according to current hotel and brand standards. Prepare and present breakfast foods according to established procedures, food safety requirements, and health codes. Monitor breakfast items throughout service and replenish food, beverages, utensils, and supplies as needed. Welcome guests with a friendly attitude and provide helpful, attentive service throughout breakfast. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting breakfast and dining area. Monitor food quantities and help ensure inventory meets current business demands. Communicate low-stock items and ordering needs to management. Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures. Clean and break down the breakfast area following service. Assist with cleaning public spaces when requested. Practice positive guest relations by consistently demonstrating Western States Lodging & Management hospitality and service standards. Complete other reasonable duties as assigned by management. You Know You're Successful When... High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous food service, hospitality, or breakfast attendant experience is preferred but not required. Current Food Handler Permit and applicable food safety certification, as required by local or brand standards. Friendly and professional communication skills. Strong customer service mindset and a desire to create positive guest experiences. Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Dependability and attention to cleanliness, presentation, and food safety. Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, stoop, and reach. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques. Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Authorization to work in the United States and proof of identity as required by federal law.
