As an Air Support Pharmacist, you will play an important role in helping ensure medication orders are reviewed accurately, clinically appropriately, and in a timely manner to support safe and efficient delivery to customers.We are seeking a pharmacist who demonstrates strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires a commitment to quality, service, compliance, and collaboration.Primary ResponsibilitiesVerify medication orders entered by technician staff for accuracy, completeness, and clinical appropriatenessReview new and refill orders to ensure safe and appropriate medication therapyIdentify and address drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food, and allergy-related concernsDocument pharmacist interventions and related actions in accordance with company policies and proceduresProvide accurate and timely drug information to providers and customer facilitiesSupport compliant dispensing practices in accordance with DEA requirements and applicable state laws related to controlled substancesFollow all applicable state and federal regulations, including HIPAAPrioritize workflow effectively to support service, quality, and turnaround expectationsContribute to a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and customer service within the pharmacy teamPerform other duties as assignedPosition DetailsThis is a full-time, onsite evening shift position offering 40 hours per week. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required based on business needs. There is no on-call requirement for this role.Required QualificationsBachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy preferredActive pharmacist license in good standing in state of residenceAbility and willingness to become licensed in additional states as neededAbility to work a regular onsite evening shift schedule, with weekends and holidays as needed based on business needsProficiency in clinical interpretation, including drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions, and allergiesStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsLong-term care pharmacy experienceActive pharmacist licensure in multiple statesAnticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$50.48 - $84.62This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
