Our team supports the development of secure collaboration spaces, classified environments, and mission-enabling facilities that help customers execute critical national security missions.You will excel in this role if you are:A collaborative engineer who thrives as part of an integrated technical teamSelf-motivated with a desire to build and expand your technical expertiseFamiliar with Agile frameworks and methodologiesA forward thinker who enjoys learning new technologies and driving network innovationExperienced with Cisco, Dell, and Juniper networking productsSkilled in network design, routing, switching, and optimizationKnowledgeable about network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systemsA day in the life consists of:Designing, configuring, and maintaining complex network infrastructure across multiple mission areasImplementing and managing secure communication paths in compliance with customer and industry standardsMonitoring network performance, analyzing traffic patterns, and resolving connectivity issuesSupporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT and network systemsManaging network operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliabilityLeading troubleshooting efforts and providing technical mentorship to junior engineers and support staffConducting network capacity planning and optimizationDeveloping and maintaining documentation for network configurations, processes, and proceduresImplementing upgrades and enhancements to improve reliability, scalability, and performanceMust Haves:Active or current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearancePhD + 10 years of experience, orMaster's + 12 years of experience, orBachelor's + 14 years of experience, orAssociate's + 16 years of experience, orHigh School/GED + 18 years of experienceIAT Level II certificationStrong experience with Cisco, Dell, and Juniper productsExpertise in network protocols, routing, and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.)Proficiency in network security tools and practices (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN)Strong VMware skills are highly desirableWorking knowledge of hardware and desktop support, including Thin Client networking and administrationNice to have:System Administration or Infrastructure Engineering experienceIndustry certifications at IAT Level IIIClearPoint is committed to delivering secure, compliant environments that enable our partners to operate effectively in mission-critical settings.
