About the Role
Toyota of Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced express technician who takes pride in their work to lead our express team and provide an exceptional guest experience. If you are a natural leader of people looking to advance your career, this is the perfect home for you.
As the Express Team Leader , you will set the benchmark for your team, driving efficiency while shaping the careers of the next generation of automotive technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by Example: Model the professional behavior, work ethic, and standards expected of all express team members.
- Drive Production: Take responsibility for team throughput to consistently meet Toyota's commitment to an under 1-hour guest wait time.
- Maintain Quality: Ensure the express team strictly follows established Toyota processes to provide high-quality, consistent service.
- Develop Talent: Train, mentor, and coach current and newly hired team members to help them grow and advance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an express technician role.
- Own your own tools and possess the ability to perform general vehicle maintenance following Toyota's specific processes.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
- Dedication to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
