This leadership role helps maintain regulatory compliance, supports nursing staff development, and promotes a culture of excellence, compassion, and accountability.Essential ResponsibilitiesAssist with oversight of daily nursing operationsSupport recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of nursing staffParticipate in performance management and employee coachingEnsure compliance with state, federal, and local regulationsAssist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiativesMonitor resident care plans and clinical outcomesParticipate in surveys, audits, and regulatory inspectionsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident careServe as a resource and mentor for nursing staffAssume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Director of NursingQualificationsRequired:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standingMinimum of 2 years of nursing leadership experienceExperience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute careKnowledge of state and federal long-term care regulationsStrong communication, organizational, and leadership skillsPreferred:Previous experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing or Nurse ManagerRestorative, rehab, or memory care experienceExperience with quality measures and survey preparationWhat We're Looking ForA compassionate and resident-focused leader.
