This position is primarily remote, which provides flexibility while still allowing for face-to-face interactions in our outpatient clinic. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.

• Facilitate in-person therapy sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and solution-focused techniques.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, helping clients manage immediate emotional distress and develop coping mechanisms.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with New York state regulations and clinic policies.
\n
• Engage in ongoing case reviews, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at our Hempstead clinic, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active LMFT license in New York State, in good standing.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient or mental health services.

• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is advantageous, but not required.
