Maintenance Director

Maintenance DirectorSheridan Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a hands-on, highly motivated Maintenance Director to join our amazing team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. If you're ready to make a real difference in a long-term care setting, we'd love to meet you!Key Responsibilities:Perform and oversee building repairs, preventative maintenance, and scheduled maintenance programsCollaborate with department heads to prepare rooms for resident admissions and dischargesEnsure facility compliance with OSHA, Life Safety Code, and Department of Health regulationsManage inventory, ordering of supplies, and maintenance equipmentOversee the maintenance department's financial and operational budgetsDevelop and implement workplace safety programs and proceduresQualifications:Prior experience in maintenance within healthcare or long-term care strongly preferredIn-depth knowledge of life safety codes and regulatory complianceStrong organizational, communication, and team management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, resident-centered environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications a plusWhy Join Sheridan Health and Rehabilitation?We are a team that supports, recognizes, and rewards our staff for the dedication they bring to caring for our residents.
