The posted compensation range of $22.51 - $31.79 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Emergency Room Tech, you will support safe, cost-efficient patient care in the Emergency Department, performing delegated functions from the RN or Physician. Every day you will conduct selected diagnostics and procedures, assist with patient transport and lifting, and provide general clerical and cleaning support to the unit. To be successful in this role you will effectively execute delegated tasks, support unit operations, and contribute to a safe and efficient environment.

• Provides support to physician with procedures and treatments.
• Coordinates patient care with professional and support staff.
• Performs delegated patient care tasks.
• Monitors patient vital signs and notifies the RN or physician if they change.

Job Requirements

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of direct patient care experience, Paramedic certification, EMT Certification or completion of the second term of Nursing Curriculum
• AHA BLS

Preferred

• ED and/or Phlebotomy experience
