Job Description Electronics Technician at Providence Portland Service Area. Required books and fees are 100% covered or reimbursable for select schools in the Guild catalog up to program funding cap Paid Time Off - Benefit eligible caregivers receive up to 25 days per year Retirement - The Providence retirement program consists of employer match and discretionary contributions that work together with your pre-tax (and/orRoth aftertax) contributions to help you save for retirement. Lyra Caregiver Assistance program- Up to 25 counseling or coaching sessions per eligible member per year As part of the facilities department, the Instrumentation Technician performs installations, scheduled maintenance, repairs, calibration and safety inspections of electronic, mechanical, information and communication equipment and systems. Work assigned ranges from moderate to advance in difficulty, in some cases requiring specialized and/or advanced training. The Technician works under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager and coordinates work with other caregivers within the department. The Technician prioritizes duties to ensure a minimum of operational downtime and maximize the efficient use of equipment. Some work may be performed by contractors under the supervision of the electronics technician. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

- Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent education/experience.
- Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
- 5 years installation and maintenance of electronic equipment experience.
